Social anxiety involves reacting to everyone's responses and feeling as though others are judging you. First of all, remember that no one can read minds, so let's clear that up. It can also feel like being stuck in a fearful state.
We can overcome this fear and paralysis, but it requires significant effort and practice. The first step is to be comfortable with yourself. If you can't move forward with confidence, it will be difficult to break free.
Next, identify your triggers. Is it caffeine? A crowd of 50 people? Traffic? Triggers activate your fight or flight response and make you feel stuck. Once you know your triggers, I wouldn't suggest avoiding them, but be aware that they present a challenge.
Finally, embrace the feeling of being free and not trapped. Feeling trapped can lead to severe social anxiety and various fight or flight issues. This is not our true nature. We are meant to live with love, peace, joy, and humility. CIAO!
