There are numerous reasons why you might feel "off" and not at your optimal self. Your best self encompasses good focus, happiness, an efficient digestive system, healthy sleep, and more. I will simply outline what you might need to adjust to achieve the balance you seek.
Your diet - It's often repeated, but your diet significantly impacts your mood and body. Consuming junk food regularly leads to inflammation and addiction due to the processed ingredients. Gradually modify your diet, but first, I'll discuss the next step to make this transition easier, especially if you have a parasite, tapeworm, or poor gut health.
2. Oregano oil. The secret weapon. It eliminates parasites on contact. If you're feeling sluggish, incorporate this into your routine, and you'll notice a significant improvement.
3. You're not getting enough light. Your body is designed to be in well-lit environments. However, in today's world, we often prefer staying indoors during warmer days due to the intense sun. Yet, at least 30 minutes of sun exposure is beneficial. If that's not possible, check my other blog post on "this light can fix your depression," which can help. However, natural light is always preferable.
4. You're consuming too much food at once. This can make you feel sluggish and sleepy. You should eat to feel comfortable and energized, not to overindulge. Eating three chicken sandwiches with fries and a soda will inevitably make you feel sluggish.
5. Lastly, you might be deficient in something. I'm not a doctor, and please don't use ANY of my blog posts as medical advice. It's always beneficial to get tested every 6 months to a year to check for deficiencies. I was low in iron, so I take an iron supplement and occasionally a multivitamin. Lastly, if you're constantly hungry, it might be due to an imbalance in your brain's "leptin" levels. Once corrected, you'll definitely feel the difference.
